Acupuncture, herbs and energy work are some of the best things we can do for our bodies, minds and spirits. Davis Community Acupuncture Clinic offers affordable community-style acupuncture and pesticide and additive free chinese herbs. If you'd like to bring a friend or family member and be treated at the same time, you can book a 2 person appointment. For groups larger than 2, you'll need to book consecutive 15 minute appointments. Here's what the visit will entail:
 - For the safety of our clinic community please reschedule if you develop any symptoms of illness (no charge for last minute cancellations in this case)
 - Masks are optional. I'll be wearing one
 - Liquid hand sanitizer available at the front door and powerful air filters running
 - Recliners are spread out at least 6 feet apart
 - Sessions begin with a conversation about what's bringing you in, followed by an acupuncture treatment. Plan to be here about an hour, though if you have somewhere to be, we can shorten that
 - Points used are mostly on the arms, legs (below elbows and knees) and head, so no disrobing necessary. If possible, please dress to make these areas accessible

If you get to Lake Blvd (going west, towards Winters), you just passed us. The street numbers are not easy to see, so look for the "Davis Community Acupuncture Clinic" sign high up on the building.
Please note: my payment processor is currently down, so if you’re having trouble booking an appointment, please contact me directly via phone, text or email.I've been practicing acupuncture since 2002 and in that time I've worked in a wide array of settings, including on a cruise ship. None of those has been as rewarding as working at the Davis Community Acupuncture Clinic. I founded this clinic in 2008, and I’m proud that the clinic has been able to provide tens of thousands of treatments since then in an affordable and sustainable way.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
Ear seeds are a great way to get some of the benefits of acupuncture without needles and without having to be in the clinic as long. An ear seed is a tiny seed or metal ball on a sticker that can stimulate a point on the outside of the ear and can be left there for up to a week at a time. An ear seed session involves a brief conversation about what brings you in for treatment, followed by the placement of 5-10 ear seeds, at which point you're free to leave and go on about your day. It's recommended to massage the points a few times a day (I'll show you how) and to remove them within 7 days if they haven't fallen out on their own by then.Session options are:
 - stress and anxiety: $20
 - customized treatment based on your specific condition: $40
