About Laura

     Laura Bealer, L.Ac. holds a Master's degree from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medical College, Berkeley.

     She came to love acupuncture through her own personal experience as a teenager, when it successfully treated a painful gastrointestinal issue that was difficult to diagnose.

     Laura grew up in Ventura County, California, and settled in Northern California in 2006. She practices Japanese-style acupuncture, which utilizes gentle, painless techniques and very thin needles. She is happy to be joining the team at DCAC, as she is a strong advocate of affordable healthcare.

     Laura has treated many different ailments. She has personal and professional interests in gastrointestinal health and women's health, within the broader scope of family practice.
